I use kFileReplace to do global changes like this in all the files in a specified folder. You can configure it to include or ignore subfolders and use a simple match string or grep to find the matching text to replace. It also has a test function that creates a list all the files that would have been changed in a real replace -- so you can confirm that it's not finding matches in the wrong files before you run the real replace.
