Ok,= two files to check: httpd.conf (Apache2 file) and webdna.ini (WebDNA file)<=/div>

both need to be accessed via root# user

FIRST FILE: you need to make sure the  lines listed below= are in the httpd.conf file between  first and last #------------------=---- 

httpd.conf (Apache2)

which is found in this directory: /private/etc/apache2/httpd.conf=

Also make sure this line below in httpd.conf h=as no # sign in front:

LoadModule fastcgi_module li=bexec/apache2/mod_fastcgi.so  (correct)

SECOND FILE: webdna.ini (WebDNA)

found: Maci=ntoshHD/Library/Webserver/Documents/WebDNA/webdna.ini

check line to read:

ValidTemplateExtensions=.dna= .tpl .html

and again make sure that ALL your= files which have webdna code 

whether .dna, .tpl .db, or .ht=ml  have their owner permissions set to this: 

UID: GID  

_www:_www

so when y=ou check your directory serving WebDNA files it  should look like this:=

But it does not.  Darn=.  Do you know which file the extension data .DNA .tpl is saved in so I= can check that file itself?

I had the same problem. 

As Chr=is says, it's a permission issue.

MacintoshHD/Libra=ry/Webserver/WebDNA/

root# chown -R _www:_www /WebD=NA/

and also the directory where WebDNA files are s=erved from

MacintoshHD/Library/Webserver/WebDNA-Cod=ed-Files/

root# chown -R _www:_www /WebDNA-Coded-fi=les/

after this, worked like a charm for me.

If it reverts back, it is because WebDNA h=as not been able to write the database to disk. It is just a small permissio=n problem for your files in /WebDNA.
