= _www:_www

so when you check your directory serving W= ebDNA files it  should look like this:

sh= -3.2# ls -l
total 48
-rw-r--r--  1 _www  _www &= nbsp; 38 Nov  3 20:05 test.tpl
-rw-rw----  1 _www  = _www   48 Nov  4 11:02 test232.db
-rw-rw----  1 _ww= w  _www  212 Nov  4 11:05 test444.tpl
-rw-rw-r--@ 1= _www  _www  602 Nov  7 20:48 write-file-creator.dna
-rw-r--r--@ 1 _www  _www  492 Nov  4 11:05 writefiletest.tp= l

Try that.

My directory structure is a tiny bit different as it is Macint= oshHD/Library/Webserver/WebDNA/
But it should work anyway.

But it does not.  Darn..  Do you know which file= the extension data .DNA .tpl is saved in so I can check that file itself?

Thanks for your help!

If it reverts back, it is because WebDNA has not been able to write the d= atabase to disk. It is just a small permission problem for your files in /We= bDNA.

Chris,

Still getting:

I'm curious why I can add the .tpl extension= in the preferences area, and have it work, and then revert back on a restar= t.  Odd.
