Stuart TremainHiI know t=he grep shows it, but it ain=E2=80=99t running according to the browser. &nb=sp;Is there any other reason, other than WebDNA not ru=nning, that a browser would show a =E2=80=98Sorry WebDNA server not running=E2==80=9D message? Doesn=E2=80=99t matter what the URL is - Any that were= working before (inc. the WebDNA admin itself) are coming up with the same t=hing. Only time I=E2=80=99m ever seen that in 18 yrs of WebDNA is when= it really isn=E2=80=99t running.=Also - Can you pls provide an update shell script for restar=ting WebDNA. When running earlier version on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS I used;<=div class=3D"">=09=09=09/usr/local/apache2/cgi-bin/WebCatalogEngine/WebCatalogCtl stop=span>
/usr/local/apache2/cgi-bin/W=ebCatalogEngine/WebCatalogCtl start
But clearly locations have chan=ged and the WebCatalogCtl doesn=E2=80=99t appear to be there anymore - or I c=ouldn=E2=80=99t see it.Thanks,---------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed tothe mailing list talk@webdna.usTo unsubscribe, E-mail to: talk-leav=e@webdna.usarchives: http://www.w=ebdna.us/page.dna?numero=3D55Bug Reporting: support@webdna.usOn 12/05/2018, at 5:29 PM, christophe.billiottet@webdna.us wrote:Hi Diane,---------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed tothe mailing list talk@webdna.us=To unsubscribe, E-mail to: talk-leave@webdna.usarchives: h=ttp://www.webdna.us/page.dna?numero=3D55Bug Reporting: support@webdn=a.usthe grep sh=ows WebDNA running? and it had been for a while when you ran the grep comman=d.also, about the= commands:$ cd /usr/lib/=cgi-bin/$ chmod -R 755 WebCatalogEnginethis means that you are recursiv=ely giving 755 to all files inside /WebCatalogEngineOn=ly WebCatalog executable needs this permission change<=br class=3D"">$ chown -R www-data:www-data WebCatalogEngine$ cd /var/www/html$ chmod -R 755 WebCatalog<=/div>same here: there i=s no need to give executable permissions to these files.
