Brian, you know virtually nothing about Linux yet you refuse to follow Stuart's advice to use Apache's defaults and use Webmin to edit your config files? It's no wonder you have all these problems! You're at fault here, no one else. You ignore Stuart's advice and do things your own way -- the wrong way -- with no concept of the problems you're creating. And then you whine and complain about it on this list. You seem to be making a series of very bad decision. I hope this changes very soon, and permanently. > TalkList members say the will help... then they are GONE > and suddenly don't has access to email or skype???!!! > Nothing worse than someone setting you up to fail...!!! This is without a doubt the most disrespectful things anyone has ever written about Stuart on this talk list, and it is completely unjustified. How much help do you expect for FREE when you ignore the helper's advice and create the exact problems he was trying to help you avoid? Wise up, Brian. No one here owes you anything. And you absolutely have no right to accuse Stuart or anyone else of setting you up to fail. You set yourself up to fail by ignoring Stuart's recommendations! Instead of following every one of his recommendations and getting setup and running on Linux ASAP, you insisted upon "changing the defaults" against his advice, and overwriting config files via SFTP instead of using Webmin to edit them. So just SUCK IT UP and admit that you caused your own problems, then move on. By the way, just a few word of advice here: If you don't stop complaining and instead start showing more appreciation for the many hours Stuart has generously given you FOR FREE, you're not going to find anyone here who will help you the next time you need it -- and you will most definitely meed more help in the future. Bottom line: Just stop being a wise-ass know-it-all and start doing everything the experts suggest, especially when they are helping you free of charge. You can always go back LATER and change things to make them the way you THINK they should be. But please do not complain any more about the people here who go out of their way to help you. We do not like it one bit.
