Let me know how it goes.I don't know how your tax system works in Italy, do you include the tax in a quoting price? or do you add it on at the end? We don't include the tax until the end.Cheers _________________________________________________________________ Simon Buchanan, Web-Admin, Multiple Zones NZ Ltd (MacZone/PCZone) mailto:webadmin@webzone.net.nz http://www.zones.co.nz hotline://hotline.zones.co.nz chat-handle:GREMin _________________________________________________________________ DEVELOPMENT SITE: http://www.zones.co.nz/mall.tmpl _________________________________________________________________---------- >From: Filippo@znort.it (Filippo Bellotti) >To: WebDNA-Talk@smithmicro.com >Subject: Different Tax levels >Date: Thu, 26 Feb 1998 9:38 PM >>Here, in Italy, we have different tax percentage depending on the kind of product: i.e., hardware is >20% (yes, 20!), software or books 16% or less (avoid any comment, thank you!). >So I need to use a custom variable and to add a lot of calculations to manage taxes. >Any suggestion or forthcoming solution? > >Best Regards > >Filippo Bellotti >filippo@znort.it > >Silene srl >via Volvera, 6 >10141 Torino - Italia >+39-11-38.33.083 tel >+39-11-38.33.164 fax >http://www.silene.it > > > > > Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
