[convertchars] limits

This WebDNA talk-list message is from

It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 16636
interpreted = N
texte = This is from the docs:--- MyConversions.db --- fromto %0B
%0D

©© TMNotice that you can use escaped-ASCII to specify characters such as Carriage Return (%0D), Soft-Return (%0B), Tab (%09), etc. The text in the from column must be only 1 character, while the text in the to column may be as many as 63 characters. Because of that information I decided to try changing dots into carriage returns, like this:--- MyConversions.db --- fromto .$0DOf course, it doesn't work, apparently because escaped-ASCII characters cannot be used in the to field. So how can I change the dots into carriage returns or tabs so I can write the results into a file as a database?Sincerely, Ken Grome 808-737-6499 WebDNA Solutions mailto:ken@webdna.net http://www.webdna.net Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
