texte = Thanks everyone for the quick response to my question. While Applescript is useful, I agree it is slow and pretty limited compared to many other system languages. However, I am new to WebCatalog and the documentation is pretty genral. That's why this forum is so useful.We just upgraded to WebStar 3.0 so I'll start reading up on the many issues that came forth from this discussion. The closer I can get to WebCatalgo to manage this, the better. Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
