I love WebCatalog, and something's it is really good at, and others it is not so good at.I send 110,000 emails a week (140,000 every other week) and I can tell you that pretty soon you will outgrow the capabilities of pushing WebCatalog to do something it isn't meant to do.Let me offer you a different solution. http://www.galleon.com they make eMerge, a Mac based mailing program, that you dump in a file containing the email address, and optionally, name, address, order number, or whatever 10 variables you want, and the form letter; and it, on the fly, creates a perfect email, and delivers it to the recipient's mail server. (It doesn't tie up your dns or mail server, it does it all internally)We've found you can import about 15,000 names per mailing, but if you have more, you just create a new list, and send them out too!How much? $99. Come on, are you so cheap that you don't have 99 bucks? OK, according to an email I got today from them, through December, I think there is a $20 rebate for a $79 price. And, this is a perfect use of parallel computing, ie, fire the software up on multiple computers (with multiple licenses of the software, duh), and get your list done x times faster.Oh, NO, I don't work for them, I just LOVE their software too!
