texte = The meta refresh idea will work (see my earlier post) - but your best ideais to combine it with a time tracking database. So when your meta refreshoccurs the templates looks into the tracking database and checks to see ifthe last instance of writefiles was at least 5 minutes ago. If so look intothe appropriate SIMS folder and check to see if it contains files from theprevious batch. If the folder is clean then it processes the next batch andupdates the time tracking database. IF not, it waits for the next cycle andtries again. By combining meta refresh with a tracking database AND lookinginto the mail folder, you have a pretty complete solution. Also with thismethodology you can do some advanced error checking - like checking to seeif x cycles have failed and if so send a notifier to you that something isamiss (as long as whatever is amiss doesn't stop the notifier email fromgoing that is).Marty Schmid>At 8:08 AM 12/9/99, Jay Van Vark wrote:>>> How about a meta refresh in 2 seconds that loads the next series...>>>>>That's a great idea.... except that the refresh would have to be more like>5 minutes.
