Carts while in the ShoppingCart directory before being processed have the same file name as cart number. When moved to the Orders directory after being processed they have a diferent filename that the cart number yet the cart number can be retrieved from the file but is not visible in the file.Is this some security issue? is the cart number derived from the order number after the fact. How would one search through order files for a particular order. Other han a order database which we have implemented. I never really had caught this before. but i was trying to find an order by number and when i found it and displayed it in a template to view it the order number was diferent.then i checked the files and the case is the same on 3.0 and 4.0 and as far back as a year. can anyone shed some light on this. at least confirm the same behavior or not? you need to view the orderfiles in a template that retreives both the filename and the cart.jym -- Affordable - Powerful - Internet Jym Duane -President - CyberLive, Inc.
