There is also no reason to use [math] at all, did you try using [text] instead? Please also be aware that form variables are readonly in 4.x, due to the security enhancements that came with that version. You can always move the value in the form variable to a math variable (try qty_ordered) of your own.John PeacockGlenn Busbin wrote: > > I'm passing a formvariable ok, but need to evaluate it after it's passed. > If [quantityordered] is greater than [numavailable], I want to reset > [quantityordered] = [numavailable]. > > I'm using: > > [showif [quantityordered]>[numavailable]] > [Math][quantityordered]=[numavailable][/math][/showif] > > This always sets [quantityordered]=0 no matter how large [numavailable] is. > > Using: > [Formvariables] > [quantityordered], [numavailable] > [/Formvariables] > > shows that the correct values are being passed. > > Why can't I reset the value of this variable as per the docs for WC3? > > Thanks, > Glenn > > ------------------------------------------------------------- > This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to > the mailing list . > To unsubscribe, E-mail to: > To switch to the DIGEST mode, E-mail to > Web Archive of this list is at: http://search.smithmicro.com/------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
