texte = hello everybody, i think this might be of interest. we run wc 3.0.8 / w*3.x on g3 bw, with two 256MB pc133 rams.when the load increased we had o lot of crashes. the system was reporting not enough memory! but there was still up to 180 MB free.we identified one of the ram chips not working very well. we decided to exchange the pair. after two days, we had again a crash. it always happened when visitors processed their orders -in that moment wc was counting order results- while w* was opening a new log report and storing the old file. than we read those comments about memory conflicts. thanks a lot for reporting the results of the webstart list reg.wc plugins!!!!!!we replaced the plugin 3.0.8 with 3.0.7. no crash and load is faster!!!! we hope we have solved this problem for now.so the result could be, that wc plugin's over 3.0.7 are not working well with pc133 rams. can someone report in detail their experience, with pc100 instead of pc133 rams on g3 bw macs?thanks a lotalfred------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
