Want to do a search? First you have to create the search instruction, GCI & work out the syntax. Then you have to install a database and script interaction to it from your web server. ASP is simply a lower level language than WebDNA so it's more do-it-yourself.If you work with ASP long enough, you build a collection of instructions to handle your needs and you get pretty good at database programming. In a nutshell, you will end up with something that, if done well, will look like WebCat, but without the grace and without a fast RAM based database. There's no logical connection between the number of programmers using a language and the efficiency of that language. I'm sure there's even more people that know how to use a shovel but that doesn't translate to better website sales. Recommendations like this come from companies that make their living through change regardless of improvement. If you management team fails to recognize this you have a right to take your talent to a more deserving organization.Tell them that WebCat is built on ASP technology so you're already there.Pat > The time has come for all men to come to the aid of their country (or in > this case of WebDNA)... > > Any how, here is my issue: > > Our management team brought Banta Corp.
