texte = My working definition of a portal in the business domain (versus something like MyYahoo) is a web site that offers a personalized experience in the presentation of information and applications that can be easily structured around a business organization or business function. There is a whole 'market' defined as Enterprise Information Portals that focuses on the B2E and B2B (Intranet/Extranet) area for organizing business documents (or other 'assets') and business applications around the organizational or functional structure of the business.
