texte = Portal. This seems like one of the most misunderstood and/or misused terms on the net. I always assumed that it was just a marketing term used as eye candy on fancy brochures and web sites. An empty word that can be used to encompass anything technologically cool on the internet in a pinch, especially when the person using the word doesn't really comprehend what they are talking about. If there is an actual definition that relates to web technology and has been accepted by at least a couple of programmers on this list, please let me know what it is.MikeOn Thursday, October 10, 2002, at 10:17 AM, Lester Emo wrote:> Has anyone created a somewhat simple web portal with webdna??>> If so where?> And, is the code available?>> Getting real tired of an .asp portal that's being used for a client.> It has way too many features and gets difficult to manage.> Especially since most of the features aren't even needed>> Looking for a way to jump start a conversion . . .>>> lester>>==-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
