Dan, I hear that you could do the same thing in the Philippines if you didn't have your heart on NZ. Sorry, I wont clog the bandwidth anymore with this OT. I get a bit irked when I see attitudes that basically come down to if I can access it, it is public domain, and so I can just take it.The truth is that this is rarely legal, and almost never ethical and just because it is done quite often by 'developers' flying below the radar of the legitimate authors doesn't make it right.Like other lists I am on when someone posts about things such as this, I am never less than amazed at the amount of people that truly believe that broadcast or availability of your work automatically labels it under the umbrella of public domain. Not true... Not even close to true. Its a never ending battle and unfortunately it is up to each author to monitor his own property and determine if the usage falls under agreeable limits.Don't get me wrong, I am not suggesting that anyone here is purposefully suggesting theft of services or condoning it. I just think that it happens a lot more than most people know and ultimately the author ends up paying the price.Again... Digressed but thought an explanation was in order. Nothing personal towards anyone or any geography.AlexAlex J McCombie New World Media Chief Information Officer Drawer 607 800/724.8973 Fair Haven, NY 13064 Alex@NewWorldMedia.com http://OurClients.comInterface Designer WebDNA Programmer Database Designer------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
