texte = Ok, not necessarily useful, but interesting: WebDNA-based Artificial IntelligenceI've been sitting on this idea forever, but the reality is I'll probably never get around to it, so maybe someone else will find it interesting enough to bring it to life or want to collaborate on it:Based on website keywords/content, a brain.db is built and, in theory, a 'personality' of a website is created. This could then be given a 'face' (like a flash animation or whatever) and have a form input where site users could ask questions and/or chat with the 'bot. The brain.db would continously be update with user input and *somehow* eventually become somewhat 'intelligent'.Most useful as a website FAQ/Search-bot I suppose, but I just thought it would be interesting as hell to experiment with. I suppose some sort of a spider would need to be built to get the keywords, etc, and then all sorts of webDNA [logic] would have to be written to handle/categorize/analyze the flow of info between the user and brain.db...lots of work, really for something that could end up being just a toy.I have all sorts of chatterbots on my nmachine like HAL, Alice, etc. and I've messed with Verbots, but I thought a WebDNA-based solution would be a score for the home team...I'd be happy to elaborate on this publicly or privately as I get time, so let me know if anyone's interested.-Dan-------------------------------------------http://www.StrongGraphicDesign.com(208) 319-0137 | Toll-free p/f 877-561-1656On Wed, 23 Oct 2002 20:31:38 +1300 Alain Russell
