But a webdna [redirect] comes from the server instead of from the HTML in the web page -- which means the visitor never gets to see the HTML in the page with the [redirect] tag in it -- and therefore using a webdna [redirect] cannot be considered to be an attempt to subvert the search engines. The default page of several of my web sites have a webdna [redirect] tag in them. I do this because I like to use a hierarchy like this in most of my sites:index.html (has [redirect welcome/index.html] in it) Welcome (folder) index.html contactUs.html otherPages.html Admin (folder) index.html access.html password.html Products (folder) index.html search.html results.html details.html... because it is very easy for me to change the default page seen by the visitors without doing anything more than changing the [redirect] tag in the root folder's index.html file.So ... are you saying that this technique will ban me from the search engines?
