If I am understanding correctly, if I were to, for example, put my enews.db table in a folder under the Globals directory called test, I would access it as ^test/enews.db and you are thinking that through the standard and secure URLs both it would come out to the same path and thus remove my problem? If you were my administrator, would you be willing to give me FTP access to a folder under the Globals folder? (Just wondering how reasonable of a request this is to make.) Perhaps a symbolic link or shortcut or some such thing from the Globals folder to my existing store area could work.In case this isn't a reasonable request, or gets turned down anyway, some more questions...> From the way that Apache works, it is not as easy to know the actual physical >path to the file (unlike W2k and OS/9).You understand this to be a function of Apache, not of OSX? When you say not as easy, do you think there might be a way? Do you have any sense of what to search for in Usenet archives or on the web to gain some info on this?I suppose the other solution would be to get a certificate for each site, and then the standard and secure protocols would be accessing the same virtual paths, and thus recognize the tables as being the same tables?Velma ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
