I've wasted enough time trying to resolve the problem, to no avail.).The way I see it, SIM and AIM present two different challenges:SIM -- requires a fingerprint AIM -- requires a direct connection unavailable in WebCat 3 (tcpconnect)So my choices are (I'm leaning towards 1 or 3):1) AIM: putting 4.5 on a different server and putting only the SSL domain there and hope 4.5 is stable (I paid for 4.5 over a year ago... it sits unused...)2) SIM: figuring out just what the heck the fingerprint is. From Authorize.net docs:The fingerprint is a hash generated using an HMAC-MD5 algorithm on the following fields [6 variables being used in the transaction]. Sample of fingerprint generation: Fingerprint = HMAC-MD5 ([the six fields in a specific manner])Then they go on to say they've included fingerprint samples on the authnet site. Yeah, samples for PHP, ASP, and Perl. What is an HMAC-MD5 algorithm? Is this something I can make an Applescript do? Wasn't SMSI going to give us samples of doing this? ? ?3) AIM: I've been thinking I could use [applescript][/applescript] to do a tcp connect in WebCat 3, and therefore use the simpler AIM. Before I roll up my sleeves to figure out the applescript needed, is this a viable solution? Can anyone help me out here? Thanks, Terry------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
