texte = Well... this list is so helpful on so many things...The way my ISP has it set up, a shared secure certificate is available with each of my WebDNA hosting accounts. So, for example, one of my URLs is http://www.floydcrafts.com. And https://secure8.anu.net/floydcrafts points to the same folder. This works fine. When I can afford it, I'll get around to getting my own certificate for each site, but that can wait till a future year. However, since we moved to OSX, I haven't had proper 404 error pages set up. I am trying to remedy that. I am supposed to have all the permissions I need to use .htaccess. So I set up the basic .htaccess file with an ErrorDocument directive,ErrorDocument 404 http://www.floydcrafts.com/error.htmlorErrorDocument 404 /error.htmlboth work the same. This is fine, as far as the main site goes. But the secure link goes ballistic as soon as I put this file in place. Not only does it not handle errors, but valid pages also don't work. All references within that folder of that domain (https://secure8.anu.net/floydcrafts) give an Internal Server Error message. (No fluke; as soon as I remove the file, it's fine; as soon as I put it in place it's broken.)Can anyone guess why that might be?Velma----------------------------------------Velma KahnGlory Day Software Company200 Tanager Ln NW, Floyd, Virginia 24091, U.S.A.phone: 540-745-6469 * fax: 651-321-4884email: vkahn@glorydaysoftware.comhttp://www.glorydaysoftware.comhttp://www.communitymade.comhttp://www.floydcrafts.com -------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
