texte = We will continue to support 4.X as well as 5.X for the foreseeable future. Creating new maintenance releases is mostly a issue of having sufficient critical mass of fixes (either in number or importance), etc., to justify going through the cost of the QA process on all the various platforms. Any fixes to a critical 4.X issue will likely be handled as a 'patch', if practical. At some time in the future, when it becomes reasonable to discontinue further 4.X maintenance releases in favor of 5.X, we will follow the customary process of announcing that policy change in advance of a time frame for that policy to take effect.
