Didn't mean to offend you Glenn, It *is* also possible to create a tag that writes certain defaults depending on suffix (though this apparently is *not* how [writefile] works). I haven't served on an OS9 server for a while so I haven't had to deal with it. Paul said he used the example from the storebuilder and since I know that works, I assumed that it wasn't the writefile code itself and proceeded to think what it could be after that... which the only other areas that could create an error message like that are by eiting the prefs. Apparently, paul didn't copy the code exactly and I made a false assumption ;-) cheers, Donovan Glenn Busbin wrote: >>Though Glenn's suggestion wouldn't hurt, I don't think >>that is your problem becaus it is not writing a .db or .inc probably. >> > > > WTH does the suffix have to do with it? -- =o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o DONOVAN D.
