So I append a username and password to a database like so: ....&user=[url][uppercase][header1][/uppercase][/url]&pass=[encrypt][header2] [/encrypt]&... header2 is set to uppercase before it is encrypted, using a [text] context. The user logs in with a form. The search reads thusly: [search db=adatabase.db&equserdatarq=[url][uppercase][user][/uppercase][/url]&eqpass datarq=[encrypt][pass][/encrypt]] Again, the pass is made uppercase in a [text] context beforehand. If both username and password are found, they are logged in. This works fine for some users, but others simply cannot log in, no matter what. I've also tried various combinations of [url]ing, but it doesn't seem to help. The passwords that don't work have no strange characters. Help? -- James P.
