Re: [listfiles]

It keeps the original formatting.
numero = 57607
interpreted = N
texte = This was a question posted some time ago.  The archives have the answer somewhere.  But I think it has something to do with the actual inode pointer on the physical disk, i.e. it's sorted by the inode number.

At least that's what I remember.  However wasn't there an improvement in V5 or V6 of WebDNA that allows you to specify the output?

It's by the way the OS lists them, which can be different on each OSand possibly by the prefs for each OS, so it's not consistent fromone OS to another.
well... this is linux. the ls -al outputs:1.jpg206.jpg208.jpgbeo.jpgbrain.1.jpgetc...the [listfiles] starts with beo.jpg. the numbered files are newer -time/datestamp - than the b* ones and they are listed at the end by listfiles. if i change the time stamp of the older images with newer one -nothing happens - [listfiles] starts with beo.jpg again...so it's not like the system.... i might try the tables but would stilllike to know what's the [listfiles]'s ordering logic...thanks...
