texte = I made one similar to the one in sitebuilder where you choose up to five files. No reason it couldn't be expanded. But you're still choosing them onesy-twosy.Thinking out loud, because I don't have the time to experiment, why not upload a .zip file to a specified directory, and have the shell or something unzip it on the server? Then you could bundle up a whole folder of files. Anyone try this, or see any reason why it couldn't be managed via WebDNA?You could use a listfiles to see what you end up with and deal with them accordingly (rename, move, make a database entries, etc). Is there a practical size limitation to an upload? If there's a size issue, compromise by FTPing the folder to the server, then proceed from a listfiles thing.Terry>Subject: Batch upload>Date: Fri, 1 Apr 2005 10:25:34 -0600>>I've successfully used code that allows a user to upload a single >file, and appends a record to a database file with details about the >file (ID, filename, etc.) However I'm now dealing with a situation >where we have many, many files to upload, and doing them one at a >time will be time-consuming and monotonous.>>Has anyone developed/implemented code that can do a batch file >upload and database appends?
