I have set up a couple businesses that use browsers to debit cards manually (instead of the card swipers) without even using the remote integration features. Also, the whole pricing majic eludes me. I see prices all over the board. Is it a sheisters business? The service I will use will have: 1.) Good (and robust) manual sales interface 2.) Remote integration capability (web sales) 3.) Reasonable pricing (gouging just pisses me off) I know Authorizenet.net has a "resaler program" which is kind of like a refferal program. Even with there published pricing, why do I hear of pricing all over the board through them? Their public pricing is: $29.95 / mo $.35 per trans 2.39% per trans Some kind of setup fee Other possible fees having to do with the merchant account If you get set up as a resaller, you pay an initial $79.00 fee. Then you get: $50 for setting up an account $10 (I think per month) for the gateway fee of that commissioned client $.03 per transaction. So you get some of the initial cost back.. which I suppose adds up with the more clients you refer to authnet. Though I've set some clients up to use authnet, I have actually never used them myself, so I'd appreciate comments from some those who have experience with them. I haven't used PayFloPro in a couple years. I liked their admin interface but they were pricy if I remember right ($60 or so/ mo with other charges). I've used plugnpay and as well as a couple others. Plugnpay wasn't bad for price.. though I have received varied pricing for them as well. Anyway, who do you guys like? I need a service in the next day or two so I appreciate your comments. Donovan -- =o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o DONOVAN D.
