texte = I'm running WebDNA 6.0 on OSX. I'm encrypting info before writing it to a database as follows:[url][url][encrypt seed=1234567][information][/encrypt][/url][/url]Then, when Customer Service is ready, then click a link that decrypts that info and generates a file (using writefile) that they can download and import into our Filemaker db. It decrypts as follows:[decrypt seed=1234567][/unurl][information][/unurl][/decrypt]It works well, except that null characters are coming up after the decrypted information in the fields. I checked the archive, and it sounded like this was a problem solved with the advent of WebDNA 4.Does anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong? BTW, I've been doing the encryption thing with CC numbers all along, and I've never had any problems - no null characters. Zip codes don't appear to be a problem either. Perhaps it's only a problem when encrypting/ decrypting text? Thanks in advance.Jim Ziegler-------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
