Jim is right. There are seemingly a lot of limitations on the orderfile fields... There are some wierd ones involving numbers as well if I remember right. I can see the logic in why there are these limitations but I think the logic is outdated at this point and it should be considered to take unnecessary limitations out. Any unnecessary limitation is just that.. a limitation that is unnecessary. I assume that the 255 character limit was made to conform to the GET method on connections to payment gateways. It also ensures that the orderfiles remain small. However, with today's technological resources, and with "wider" ways of connecting to payment systems, I see these limitations as unnecessary.
