texte = Well done ...Mr. Anderson ..it looks like taking the blue pill was worth it because you sure kicked Agent's Smith ass ...;-) You freed the incumbents of the WebDNA Matrix and saved us all. Seriously mate, thanks so much for solving the problem. To all would be WebDNA Neos out there ...take careful note, you must have at least one command listed in the "Only the following commands may be issued by non-administrators" setting under the WebDNA admin preference page. Do not leave it blank. Given I had the partner edition (not commerce) and that I never use commands, only context and to make sure non-administrators were denied the use of any form of commands ...I set this field to be empty. Well ....this caused WebDNA to prompt the username/password when you first visit any pages served by the WebDNA site. Huh ...never saw that coming ....and certainly had no time to duck (visualize moving and bending in slow motion). Bottom line ...make sure this field at the very least ....have the "Showpage" command and all should be fine. Once again ...many thanks to you Mr. Anderson. You are the man ....period. By the way, for those of you who have raised issues concerning SMS tech-support performances ....just for the record ...they performed outstandingly well in my scenario. Credit must be given where credit is due so well done SMS WebDNA Tech-Support team. Cheers folks ...TDn (Now a very happy camper) -----Original Message----- From: WebDNA Talk [mailto:WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.com] On Behalf Of Scott Anderson Sent: Friday, November 03, 2006 04:35 To: WebDNA Talk Subject: Re: Installing on IIS 5.1 Windows XP Pro - Username/Password perpetual prompt box Sorry, I scanned your posts to quickly and misinterpreted the issue. I thought that it was a problem with not being able to access the pages at all. Anyway, you need to make sure that your WebDNA security setting for "Only the following commands may be issued by non-administrators" includes, at least, the 'ShowPage' command. This is an 'implied' command with any normal WebDNA page request. The help text is not very clear on this. ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
