texte = W2K3 Server R2 Enterprise Edition SP2 - WebDNA 6.latest (patched) - IIS 6= .0 Having a little [sendmail] issue here... Emails apparently get written (correctly formatted) to \EmailFolder\, They never get sent and end up in \EmailProblem\ EmailLog\Email Log.txt shows "General email error - 553" TheGoogle tells me that 553 could be a relaying-related error. Noted. IIS SMTP is listening by default to "\Inetpub\mailroot\Pickup\" Files manually dropped into that folder get sent successfully. Created a new SMTP folder for IIS to listen to at "\SMTP\Pickup\" (same l= evel as "\EmailFolder\") Files manually dropped into that folder get sent successfully. Now EmailPrefs looks like this (flushed dbs): 127.0.0.1 SMTP\Pickup\ EMailCompleted\ EMailLog\ 10 [sendmails] do not appear in \SMTP\Pickup\ and thus never get sent. I have also tried using the name of the SMTP server instead like so: smtpout.mydomain.com SMTP\Pickup\ EMailCompleted\ EMailLog\ 10 no dice. POSSIBLE WORK-AROUNDS: -------------------------------------------- 1) Make IIS listen to \EmailFolder\ 2) Create my own sendmail function that does a [writefile] to \SMTP\Picku= p\ 3) [writefile] to a folder within Globals and make IIS listen to it Thing is, I know WebDNA can do this out of the box when pointed to a work= ing SMTP address, so I'm=20 sure it's something I'm doing wrong and I'd rather just solve the actual = issue than try and work=20 around it. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks, -Dan Associated Messages, from the most recent to the oldest:
