This is agood thing, but somewhat confusing. Since you now have access to all theparameters/variables in a URL or form you can build a better description ofwhat is being searched by writing it yourself (i.e. Your search for[eqdescriptiondata] yielded [numFound] items). In 1.x you couldn't accessthe variables directly and had to rely on the search plug-in to build thatdescription for you.In WC2 the [searchString] tag is only valid in the [search] context and nowdescribes the lower level URL or form necessary to duplicate the search. This is most useful when building the show next items tags in the[SHOWNEXT] context. (You now have control over this as well!).John.>Has anyone been able to return the [searchString] in WebCat2?>When I place the tag in the xxx.tmpl file, an error occurs>asking for the .db file to be named.
