texte = Interesting. I've been building business solutions for more than 15 years using a wide range of development tools on mainframe, mini and PCs. I've rarely seen a very good manual that comes with the tool. That's why the book stores are full of how to titles. The only good manual I ever saw was the result of a partnership between the customer and the vendor, over several years, to grow a pretty good manual. The vendor was one of those special players that liked to work closely with the customers to improve every aspect of their product and service. As far as I can tell, the folks at Pacific Coast seem to be this kind of company. Maybe we should be following the suggestion made yesterday and just pass on the ideas for improvements rather than waste so much time complaining.By the way, $2500 is cheap. The above mentioned vendor charged $81,000 for the tools and $3000 per person for training, not including travel and expenses. And this was all character based stuff. No graphics, no Internet, no e-commerce.
