texte = I too, have been interested in the videos strictly because the documentation is so weak.I am very concerned that there are no unbiased reviews of them or even any sample quicktime clips to look at. I would like to at least sample them somehow to determine the quality of the tapes. Anything short of that would be stupid since the person/people that organized the videos appear to be the SAME person/people that created the lame manual. However, I inquired about the return policy and was a bit shocked. If I buy them for 700 bucks and they turn out to be crap, I can return them but the video company will charge a 25% return fee. Spending 175 bucks just to find out a product sucks is almost as bad as spending thousands for a product and then hundreds more for the manual. I know that you don't want people making bootleg copies of the tapes but can you honestly blame us for being a bit gunshy when it comes to Pacific-Coast's intructional materials? Come on people - post a few clips of those tapes - Let us feel good about pouring tons of cash into our chosen database solution. dt.>Subject: Re: Share cost of training videos! >Sent: 11/20/98 2:21 PM >Received: 11/20/98 3:19 PM >From: Paul Uttermohlen, Paul@columbusrealestate.com >Reply-To: WebDNA-Talk@smithmicro.com >To: WebDNA-Talk@smithmicro.com > >Jay, > >While it may be considered questionable, I don't think that it is so >obviously or absolutely considered theft. > >Two entities can go in together to buy a product and share it.
