texte = Hi All,WebStar 4.0, WebCatalog 3.0,Assuming that my G3 Mac OS 8+ w/webstar, webcatalog servers are on a T3 connection.How many simultaneous users can log onto a webserver and; search the database of products, register their membership data, member log on, order products with a personalized shoppingcart, secure credit card payment, credit card authorization, fulfillment order generated, using the following criteria:5000+ products, mulitple images of each product, multiple descriptions utilizing a back end Oracle Database / Sun Server.In other words, would I be limited to 30-50 users or more or less per CPU?Is there an optimal number?What would be the high end number? Low end? Would this number differ on a- 1. G4 Mac OS 8+ w/webstar, webcatalog 2. Dell 6350 (or other) WindowsNT server, webcatalog 3. G4 Mac OS X server, webcatalogIf anyone knows of a comparison resource of this info and can point me to it, that would be great. I have looked at Cold Fusion on NTServer and there seems to be some serious limitations, and I am wondering how WebCatalog compares.
