texte = O.K.,I don't know if anyone was here for it but SM just announced newsupport to come for WebDNA.... My problem with it is that it seemsconvoluted. On one hand I like the new interest and energy put into marketing anddevelopment. On the other I feel like I'm getting a offer for a creditcard with a annual fee or a good introductory APR.Why can't we have just a good support environment where us graciousdevelopers can contribute if we so desire. The support enviroment shouldhave cut and paste examples for grass roots solutions. The docs are a goodstart but I think things could be expanded. Though in some ways weare competitors (meaning not only us developers but SM since they dohosting, training and coding etc..), in other ways we could seriouslyelevate the product recognition with better resources and colaboration. I lookat it in a fashion that we (the list developers) are sort of a start up company. If the product use increases we all benefit. As long as Ken's sweat shopis kept busy, work will be offered more continuously to us all. ;-)Also, whats with being offered job leads by Smith Micro in the only instancethat we are paying them money??? What would SM be without its developers?I just don't like the some of the small writing or condition type of stuff withSmithMicros new direction.Donovan-- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------<><> Donovan Brooke <><>->ï ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list
