Since you are not using a 4 digit year (which I would strongly recommend doing), make sure that you have the WebDNA 'Century Break' pref set such that it meets your needs. >From the admin help section.... Century Break: "Defines how WebDNA will interpret two digit years when performing 'date' math. It is strongly recommended that you always specify a four digit year for any date calculations. But, in the event that WebDNA is given a two digit year, this preference will allow you to control how WebDNA will calculate the century. By default, the 'Century Break' is set to '00'. This means that '00' will be interpreted as '2000', and '01' - '99' as '1901' - '1999'. If, for example, you set the 'Century Break' to '30', WebDNA will interpret '00' - '30' as '2000' - '2030' and '31' - '99' as '1931' - '1999'. " In hindsight, I think the default should have been set to something a bit higher than '00'. -----Original Message----- From: WebDNA Talk [mailto:WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.com]On Behalf Of Alan White Sent: Thursday, February 12, 2004 6:08 AM To: WebDNA Talk Subject: any idea Hi Does anyone have a suggestion why this would be returning a result for the year 03? I had a major issue with webdna bugging out yesterday and part of our site is no longer working to do with dates. The strange thing is that it *is* working but displaying last years results, I have checked to make sure the correct template is on the server but it is still returning the wrong result :( [search db=newsletter/db_s/news.db&rnnewsDatedatarq=01/10/04 31/10/04&newsDatetype=date] [if [numfound]>0] [then] OCT | [/then] [else] OCT | [/else] [/if] [/search] Hope someone has an idea of what might be causing it.
