If you are a'public' visitor, or logged in as some other non-admin group, you won'tsee the 'edit' link in the event detail and the time labels in the dayview won't be hyperlinks to the 'add/edit' screen. Second, we areworking on an enhancement that would allow you to apply the same'category' security that exists in other areas such as photos, documents, etc., to calendar events. With this, you could have bothpublic and private events ... Even have in essence different 'virtual'calendar views based upon your login. We'll likely make this availableas a downloadable template update once we're done and its tested.Phil B.-----Original Message-----From: WebDNA Talk [mailto:WebDNA-Talk@talk.smithmicro.com] On Behalf OfDonovan BrookeSent: Wednesday, March 03, 2004 10:01 AMTo: WebDNA TalkSubject: Re: SitebuilderQuestion on the Calendar part of SiteBuilder...I really like the permissioned based aspect to SiteBuilder. Is there abuilt in way (that I can't seem to find) to make the calendar*enteries* permission based? I'm sure I could code something custom butI thought I'd ask first. I would want the admin to be able to add /edit / delete entries but the regular user to just be able to view.Thanks,Donovan--=20 ==3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3D=o=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do=3Do DONOVAN D.
