Could be.... but usually slow spam stuff is related to remotely linked graphics. This is all text spam. I think it is more likely either simply the way the comments were coded or the machine that SMSI has allocated towards the comments database. "bad code" can sure be emphasized when a database has been populated. I think Gary K. did the code and I don't think he writes bad code, so that is probably not the issue. But hey, a simple test would be to get rid of the spam. I know if I was managing a publicly traded company, I wouldn't want words like that representing my products.
