From SM's p.o.v more developers=more > business. Seems though you could get the forum and mailing list to work together as opposed to being separate. Simple notification means I have to go do something else. I am already a busy developer without having to go someplace else. As ambitious as it sounds you could have the 2 integrated together. If I reply via email a post is made. If you prefer to visit the site a and post you can do that too. Now your going places. I have built forum systems, but they were for security reasons, not to force visitors back. Simply to start a new place where it is harder to passively/actively participate seems counter to the needs of DEVELOPERS. There are lists where I think the traffic is excessive and I can't follow all the possible threads, WebDNA is not one of them.Maybe you can show me a place where this method has worked better, the lasso list, the mgi list, miva. To put it in the words of Tom Hanks in BIG, I don't get it.Sincerely,Robert Minor Director of Internet Services ------------------------------------------------------------ Cybermill Communications http://www.cybermill.com http://www.merchantmaker.comProviding Ecommerce and interactive website development and hosting services on Macintosh, Windows NT, Unix, and AS/400.All your websites are belong to us! ------------------------------------------------------------- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list .
