texte = Ken, Are contracts with a Philipino business legally enforceable in the US? Basically, what, besides your word as a nice guy, does a US business have that guarantees the quality, turnaround time and intellectual property protection of any work that is performed by said Philipino company? Who would the US company go to if they were dissatisfied with the work or something (probably unlikely) to that effect...the US Embassy in Manilla? What if I sent you $5000 as a deposit and then you disappeared? What would I do? These are the kind of questions I am interested in for a variety of reasons. Feel free to respond to me off-list if you feel that is appropriate, but I think we should be able to hide here in our little thread if it really bothers anybody that badly.
