I respect your passion for delivering an innovative language to the web. It's important that everyone here, on the list, know that I'm poor. Yes, I work out of my little house in a little Canadian city and I'm POOR. I'm not ashamed of it. I adore my wife and kids, I'm a university graduate and I chose to save money to buy the initial 1,995$US for a WebCatalog licence. Then, I paid the upgrade. I thought I'd have some kind less expensive upgrade path from that moment on. Not!I see your point Phil and I sincerely thank you for the -very affordable- 995$US upgrade. The very ugly truth is that with my children growing and the markets being conservative, it's impossible for me to continue playing the game with you all because I'M POOR, or at least, too poor for you. And yes, I work like crazy. It's just sad that I ruined your party on the list just because I dreamed of continuing to work with you at using / developing the best language ever. I see that you only accept richer people than me and as such, in the end, if I don't come up with the cash, I'm not even a potential customer, I'm just a pesky problem bitching on the list, like all those other worthless poor people out there...I know you're someone nice Phil so I'll bite the bullet. You win. Good luck with WebDNA, I'll always have a special place in my heart for you all. I'll remember the lesson: money first.Respectfully, On Monday, March 31, 2003, at 01:27 PM, Phillip Bonesteele wrote:> > Claude, > > I find your post (and the forum thread you originated ... not exactly > an > object third party source) a bit misleading to the community at large > when > you post only one piece of information in order support your premise > ... > that WebDNA 5.0 has increased in price.
