Maybe .tpl rather appears to be a default forvarious reasons including "the SiteBuilder templates are based off of it".Like many developers, I always steer towards .html suffixes. One ofthe main reasons in the past was for better search engine indexing andranking, but that is not nearly as much of an issue these days.. andhasn't been for quite some time. As a developer, my concern is, notthat people know this is a WebDNA driven site, but rather, it'sfunction. (in fact, I remember people talking about using .php orother sneaky suffixes) :-)Now, as VP of the company, I would sure like to start gettingthe name out there of our beloved language... I just don't thinkthat "stressing" a particular default suffix would helpwith that (if that is one of the reasons for wanting to emphasize ".dna")To me, I would think that we would want to stress to new people thatthey can use any suffix that they want and that they are not limitedin this way. This is a good feature because it adds versitality toserver administration and to coding. .dna is already included in thedefault suffix mappings.. therefore, to me, it is a default.I guess my opinion is that nothing needs changed here... exceptmaybe if we want to make sure .dna is a default webdna.conf files.Donovan-- Donovan D.
