Maybe .tpl rather appears to be a default for various reasons including "the SiteBuilder templates are based off of it". Like many developers, I always steer towards .html suffixes. One of the main reasons in the past was for better search engine indexing and ranking, but that is not nearly as much of an issue these days.. and hasn't been for quite some time. As a developer, my concern is, not that people know this is a WebDNA driven site, but rather, it's function. (in fact, I remember people talking about using .php or other sneaky suffixes) :-) Now, as VP of the company, I would sure like to start getting the name out there of our beloved language... I just don't think that "stressing" a particular default suffix would help with that (if that is one of the reasons for wanting to emphasize ".dna") To me, I would think that we would want to stress to new people that they can use any suffix that they want and that they are not limited in this way. This is a good feature because it adds versitality to server administration and to coding. .dna is already included in the default suffix mappings.. therefore, to me, it is a default. I guess my opinion is that nothing needs changed here... except maybe if we want to make sure .dna is a default webdna.conf files. Donovan -- Donovan D.
