I would recommend CentOS 64bits, but we have a build that will work f= ine with Ubuntu 10 or 11

v7 will be released as a freeware. There will be accelerator licenses= : the accelerator is designed to process more parallel transactions and mak= es a difference on a heavy loaded website. Otherwise, the freeware version = is perfectly fine.
Each vhost/domain will need its copy, and in case you need acceleration lic= ense, it will be associated with the domain name and will only work with th= at domain name.

Commerce tags are still there but since WebDNA 7 runs at vhost level,= there is no need anymore for global directory or sandboxes. Pre/post parsi= ng are not active anymore (was loaded from the /global directory); the pre = or post parsing code was automatically included on *any* page request, befo= re or after any other WebDNA code on that page has been parsed. A need for = extra power...

The new WebDNA 7 philosophy is to make things simple and to go back to the = original WebDNA spirit: a powerful and flexible language and database syste= m without extras. We are looking for speed, robustness, security and simpli= city.

v7 will be released as a freeware.

The new WebDNA 7 philosophy is to make things simple and to go back to the = original WebDNA spirit: a powerful and flexible language and database syste= m without extras. We are looking for speed, robustness, security and simpli= city.
