But in your case it looks like you're trying to compare the entire string.As with all things in WebCatalog, the mantra it's just text applies here as well: take a look at whatever string of text you see in your encrypted field, and compare it visually against [encrypt seed=[123abc]]83837[/encrypt] and see if they are the same string.
