This is why I think, as did others, that you needed to pursue permission from anyone you are trying to gather that data from. Before you require any company to invest in your project through the use of their servers, bandwidth and labors, permission is practically mandatory from a legal perspective. But if legality isn't an issue then all bets are off.This same exact debate comes up in the idea of calling images from someone else's servers even though those images might be public domain. It is still illegal to utilize their bandwidth and servers to populate your sites without their permissions.Companies have fought and won damages for these types of things.
