I havea couple of the concerns that many others do but I know I havethe choice to use it or not. I think a better way of naggingabout things such as "price" might be to send to Smith Microdirectly (again IMHO). (ddeck@smithmicro.com perhaps?). WebDNA had something that your standardPHP/mySQL system didn't a while back. That was the CART tags and the quickability to raise a store. I may be a minority in this opinion, but I thinkthis is where WebDNA differed (and still does differ) from PHP/mySQL. Ithink for programmers that deal with creating apps all day are going to wantto go to PHP/mySQL... but I think WebDNA is a real draw for those who are:1. Do it yourselfers. (small business owners etc..)2. Commerce Store builders3. And even many full time WWW app builders (the new XML wizzard, New SQL support keep WebDNA as a contender in this area, though I agree, trying to compete with a thriving open source environment is always going to be "catch-up" or matching features)> Sincerely,> Kenneth GromeIn short, though none of us like to spend chunks of money, I think WebDNA has itsplace.Donovan-- =o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o=o DONOVAN D.
