texte = Mark, I don't know the answer to your question off-hand (and don't have time to look into it), but I often [include] a diagnostic code-block at the bottom of every page (visible only to my [ipaddress] if on a live site) so I can see what the heck is going on.. Basically [listvariables], [formvariables], [orderfile] & [lineitems] loops... Ideally, I'm able to put it in globals and call it from there, within an [include]d footer.
