texte = Definitely option 1. A lawsuit wouldn't really solve anything even if you did win it (something that's by no means certain). I think the open source alternative is out of question for now though. Smith Micro might be willing to sell WebDNA but not give it away for free and whoever buys it will have to get some return for their investment. Some enthusiasts have been working on a project to buy WebDNA and they did make some progress. Things seem to have slowed down recently though. Not sure why - maybe it's just that such a ventue takes more time than we wish it did.
